What we collect.

Short version: your name, your email, whatever you type in the booking form, and which ad or link brought you here. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels. We don't sell any of it.

Who we are

Hiclone is a sole proprietorship operated from New Jersey, United States. It builds and runs AI systems for businesses. Questions about this policy, or about data we hold on you, go to privacy@hiclone.ai.

What we collect

Three things, and nothing else.

1. What you type into the booking form

Your name, your email address, and the optional note describing what you'd like automated. You choose to give us these; the form doesn't work without a name and an email.

2. How you found us

If you arrive through an ad or a campaign link, the URL carries tracking parameters — utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, and ad-network click identifiers such as fbclid or gclid. We also record the page you landed on and the website that referred you, if any.

This is stored in your own browser, in localStorage, under the key hiclone:attribution, and it expires after 30 days. It is only ever sent to us if you submit the booking form. If you never book, it stays on your device and expires there. Clearing your browser's site data removes it immediately.

We keep it because it tells us which marketing actually produces conversations, which is the difference between spending advertising money well and spending it blindly.

3. Basic request information

When you submit the form we record your browser's user-agent string, and a salted cryptographic hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself. The hash lets us block someone from submitting the form hundreds of times without us holding an identifier that points back at you.

What we don't do

  • No cookies. This site sets none. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps.
  • No third-party fonts. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn't tell anyone else you visited.
  • No selling or renting your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
  • No marketing lists. Booking a call does not subscribe you to anything. We reply to you about your enquiry; that's it.

Who else sees it

Three service providers, each doing one job, none of them permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

  • Vercel — hosts the website and runs the code that receives your form submission.
  • Neon — the database where submissions are stored, hosted in the United States.
  • Cal.com— the scheduling tool. After you submit the form you are sent to Cal.com to pick a time, and your name and email are passed along so you don't have to type them twice. What happens there is covered by Cal.com's own privacy policy.

We will also disclose information if the law actually requires it — a valid subpoena or court order.

How long we keep it

Lead records are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. That covers a realistic sales cycle and follow-up without holding information indefinitely for no reason.

You can ask us to delete it sooner, at any time, and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it.

Email privacy@hiclone.aifrom the address you submitted, and we'll respond within 45 days. There is no charge, and we won't ask you why.

These are rights we extend to everyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live or whether a particular privacy law happens to cover you.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. The database requires authenticated, encrypted connections. IP addresses are hashed with a secret salt before storage, so the stored value can't be reversed into an address. Access is limited to the people who operate the business.

No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.

Where your data lives

Hiclone operates from the United States and stores information on servers in the United States. If you're contacting us from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the US.

Children

This is a service for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted the form, email us and we'll delete the record.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We won't quietly broaden what we gather and leave an old policy up describing something else.
